Applied Silence + Great Aunt Ida at the Hargrove

Vancouver friends, Applied Silence will be performing as part of Barking Sphinx’s Lost Dog series at the Hargrove on October 25. Stephen and José will be joined by the lovely and talented A/S alumni Shanto Acharia (Fond of Tigers), Paul Rigby (Neko Case), and Ida Nilsen, aka Great Aunt Ida,, who will also perform an opening set.

We'll play songs (and not-songs) from Finisher, our work in progress exploring themes of labour, migration, and family. It will be a night of post-rock atmospherics, documentary recordings, melodic reveries, and multilingual storytelling in a beautiful space. Come.
