Vampyr at the Cinematheque on Halloween

Following a spookily successful debut at Edmonton’s Metro Cinema last month, Applied Silence will bring a new iteration of its original live score for Vampyr to Vancouver’s mighty Cinematheque… on Halloween! For this very special, one-night-only event, Stephen and José will be joined by Fond of Tigers alumni Shanto Acharia and JP Carter, along with everyone’s favourite great aunt, Ida Nilsen, for 73 haunting minutes of guitars, brass, vocals, keys, field recordings, sundry percussive things, rattles, drones, and eerie electronics.
